Experience & Skills

I qualified as a level 5 clinical reflexologist in October 2019 and have seen a huge variety of clients since then. I’ve since completed the Ziggie Bergman facial reflexology course which is incredibly popular for stress reduction.

My level 3 massage course started in April 2021 and finished in June 2022 and I have enjoyed tailoring each massage to each individual client.
I have even created a ‘top to toe’ sequence where massage and reflexology are combined to cover all the elements of self healing and well being.

Products

I use organic balms and waxes for all my treatments. Within the treatment room, I also aim to reduce waste and use products which are re-usable and kinder to our environment. These include lightweight couch linen and blankets which can be laundered rather than thrown away and compostable products where possible.

What is Swedish massage?

Swedish massage is a therapy which manipulates soft tissue & muscles to release tension, restoring balance, improving health and creating a calming and balancing effect on the nervous system.

Massage therapists use their hands, forearms and elbows to apply different types of massage techniques. Theses techniques include Petrissage, effleurage, percussion, kneading, vibration, tapotement and holds. Swedish massage therapists apply soft strokes on the more delicate parts of the body, and stronger strokes over the muscular areas.

What are the benefits of Swedish massage?

Per Henrik Ling, the creator of Swedish massage, designed these techniques to improve circulation, soothe your muscles and make you feel more relaxed.

The massage sequence is bespoke to each person and encourages elimination of toxins, an increase in blood flow and reduces tension and stress. It’s time out, it’s time for you and it’s space to breath’
